What do we do to limit the tragedy of human trafficking among youth?
Youth who are participating in prostitution are doing so against their will. In one example of our work, we are using rigorous evaluation methods to understand if policy change the effectiveness of Safe Harbor laws has improved outcomes for youth.

Solution: Rigorous, multiple-methods, national evaluation of Safe Harbor Law effectiveness and implementation.
Problem: Little information from the research literature was available to advocacy organizations working to address human trafficking of youth.
Solution: ICS affiliated staff developed the first compilation of youth prostitution research for SAGE publishing.
Problem: Understanding the relationship between recidivism and prostitution among female juvenile offenders.
Solution: Completing an evaluation of the impact of Father Flanagan's Boys Town Short-Term Shelter Model.
